Presented by Angus Willison: Safety and Technical Officer YNZ
- will discuss boat safety and Category 4 Standards for
racing. Questions welcome.
2. RACING RULES OF SAILING - Friday
14th August 7 - 9pm
Presented by Hamish Hey: Regional Support Oficer from Yachting
New Zealand. Hamish is a National Judge and National Teams Judge
and will focus on Give Way Rules and mark rounding using a variety
of scenarios. Questions are welcome. Bring your 2013 - 2016 Rule
Book or purchase at the seminar for $20.
3. BOAT PAINT / ANTI FOULING - A Friday to be advised 7
- 9 pm
Peter Crispin from Wairau Paint Centre will be xplaining the
benefits of the Hemple range of paints for marine use both painting
4. SUMMER ISLAND TRAVEL - Friday 28th August 7-9
Presented by Jo Kennedy from Niue Island Tourism. Niue is a
Pacific Island paradise like no other, one of the smallest
countries and one of the largest raised coral atolls on earth. With
world class diving, fishing, walking, snorkelling and caving set in
a relaxing tropical environment. Or simply relax. Qusetions and
prizes to follow.
Craft Monthly is held 7 -9 pm on the last Tuesday of the month.
A variety of crafts showcased to allow you to complete a project in
the evening or continue with what you are working on.

THURSDAY CLUB NIGHT
We look forward to seeing our regular members along with

around 6.15 pm.

Our Club Historian - Bill Heathwaite has uncovered
very early images of the Wairau Estuary - together with images of
the the Milford and Takapuna beach front and surrounding
residential areas. We have started to upload some of these
diamonds. Check them out by clicking here. If you have any

The Executive Committee is always looking for extra assistance
and talents to assist the club. If you have skills in sailing,
power boating, fishing, diving, sponsorship, marketing, accounting,
building, computing, entertainment, writing, web design,
engineering, teaching, law, town planning, health, fitness,
technology, fund raising, travel, speaking, organisation,
logistics, strategic thinking, public relations then volunteer yor
services to make our club the very best we can be.
