Venue Hire

Our club house is set amongst the Pōhutukawa trees at Milford Reserve on Auckland’s North Shore, and offers a fabulous, affordable venue choice for wedding receptions, Christmas parties, engagement parties, business functions or your next milestone celebration.

Main function room

The main function room has a sunny deck with the perfect view to indulge in pre-event aperitifs and our professional in-house catering team Anise Catering can offer you a menu to accommodate all occasions. Encompassed by Milford Reserve, Milford Beach and the nearby Marina, the scene is picturesque and an ideal setting for a successful function.

This venue can accommodate 100-120 people seated for a meal. Maximum capacity is 250 people where seating is not required. It is available to hire for both Members and Non-Members. MCC members enjoy an attractive discounted rate on venue hire.

The Milford Cruising Club is a Member’s Club. Our Member’s Bar is available to our Members every night that we are open, even if there is an event in the main function room.

PLEASE NOTE: For Venue Hire a Council special licence is required in addition to the cost of venue hire. We must provide 22 business days notice to the Council for applications, so early bookings are much appreciated. The cost differs depending on number of guests.

The Wairau Room

In addition to the main function room we also have a community room, The Wairau Room which is available to hire for corporate sessions, birthdays and community group meetings. The room seats up to 20 people and cost to hire is $50 per hour. It is available Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm and weekends by agreement. Non-profit groups may be eligible for a discount.
